Using visual media for each individualized presentation, Missy engages the participants with a message that both encourages and challenges older adults to embrace their late years in spite of their physical limitations.
Known as a masterful storyteller, Missy infuses each presentation with personal anecdotes, humor and personal interaction with the participants. Topics range from a tool kit for better communication between generations to helping older adults discover a renewed purpose. One of her favorite topics is helping young and old to discover the value of intergenerational relationships. Missy’s presentations are tailored to meet the needs and interests of each specific group. Though there is always a core message, no two presentations are exactly alike.
